The Treasured Jewel of the South Pacific

The centre of Polynesia and a treasured jewel in the South Pacific, French Polynesia truly embodies paradise. It comprises five island groups: the Society Islands, Tuamotus, Marquesas, Austral Islands, and the Gambier Archipelago. Each chain promises a yachting adventure like no other.

The Society Islands is home to Tahiti and the “Pearl of the Pacific,” Bora Bora. As the largest island of the chain, Tahiti is also the cultural heart of the archipelago. With its mixture of French, Italian, and Asian influences, its culture and cuisine flourish into a harmonious melting pot. Beyond Bora Bora's dreamlike beaches and luxurious resorts is the iconic Mount Otemanu. Underneath it lives a vibrant and energetic marine society.

The Tuamotu Archipelago has 78 atolls that harbour colourful reef systems underneath its crystal-clear waters. Home to the world’s second-largest atoll, Rangiroa, where Tiputa Pass is located. Visit one of the Tahitian black pearl farms and learn about its cultivation. The archipelago also holds the migration seasons of whales from June to July.

The Marquesas, sometimes known as "The Mysterious Islands," provide a dramatic contrast of mystery and majesty. They consist of twelve volcanic islands and are recognised for their verdant greenery, towering cliffs, and unspoiled wilderness. Discover ancient petroglyphs and secret valleys and engage with well-preserved Polynesian customs.

At the Austral Islands, coconut groves and a slower pace of life reign supreme. It is ideal for a laid-back day in its remote and serene beauty. And finally, the Gambier Archipelago is known for its pearl farming industry and powdered-white sand beaches, which provide unparalleled peace.
